Six to-die-for sunglasses for summer 2014
Summer is almost here – and that means that it’s time to pull out those fabulous shades (at least, we hope so)! So we thought we’d share our very favourite sunglasses for this season. Some of them are designer / prescription (personally I have shocking eyesight so am ruled out of those lovely inexpensive designs), others are high street but whatever your needs, I’m pretty sure you’ll find something to love on here! I’ve given you two options for each style – pretty but pricey and luxe for less! Enjoy!
Dolce & Gabbana’s Almond Flowers collection

Two words: Dolce & Gabbana. OK, so they’re pricey, but so, so worth it. The whole collection is simply stunning, beautiful butterfly shapes embroidered with hand-painted flowers. Vintage, classic, floral and pretty all in one gorgeous package. Yes please! And there are some ordinary frames in the mix for people who want to go all out for some special specs.
Fabulously floral for less with ASOS

If you’re not visually impaired by me and want to get the fun, floral look for less, then ASOS should be your first stop. These pretty frames are just £12, so you can stock up in case you lose or break them. Perfect!
Glittery gorgeousness with Jimmy Choo

OK, we’re getting back into pricey territory now, but oh-em-gee how gorgeous are these retro-style glittery nude sunglasses from Jimmy Choo? Want!!!
Jeepers Peepers where’d you get those frames?

Love the glittery look but not the price tag? These Jeepers Peepers frames are currently on sale at ASOS for a steal at £12.50 so you can shine like the star you are without breaking the bank!
Pretty in pink at Black Eyewear

OK, so I’ve just found an excuse to sneak three extra frames into the post, but I just couldn’t choose my favourite from the Black Eyewear collection. There are three stockists nationwide, Brighton, Goodge Street & St Albans and all of their frames, sunnies or not, are this cool.
Pastel pretty from ASOS
Yes, I know, all my inexpensive alternatives are from ASOS, but I’ve yet to find anywhere else with the same selection at these prices (so please do send your recommendations through!) These are from Quay Eyewear at ASOS and cost just £25.00 – bargain!
So those are our top sunglasses picks for this season (or any season – they’re pretty timeless). Which ones are your favourite? Leave us your thoughts in the comment box!
