Blush rose bridesmaids, a suitcase table plan and bird cage centrepieces – a shabby elegant wedding

The fabulous Sacco & Sacco Photography sent us this stunning real wedding. With a beautiful English country garden setting, soft and beautiful colours, jam jar favours, vintage-inspired photo frame table names, a suitcase table plan and a whole host of other treats, this real wedding was right up my street. Emma and Stephen got married on the 4th of August 2012 at St Nicholas Church in Arundel, and had a beautiful rustic reception at The Pavilion Field Place in Worthing. The bride and groom also had their children baptised after the wedding ceremony, making it a double celebration.

Emma, the bride, says: “We met on a night out in a local club, where steve tried to catch my eye by blowing me a kiss across the bar!
When he proposed, Steve took me away for the weekend to lovely hotel, we went out for a meal and then on to questionable comedy club! We arrived back at hotel, sat in bar to have a drink when steve excused himself to use the loo. After waiting for 25 minutes for him to come back I texted him: “have you fallen down the loo?” When he finally returned we finished our drinks and headed to our room, About half way there I saw that there were petals on the floor I turned to Steve and said “someone’s dropped their flowers on the floor” at which point Steve marched off ahead. The rose petals led all the way to our room and when I arrived at the door there were roses in the room and a bottle of champagne. When I turned to steve to ask what was going on he was on one knee asking me to marry him… and of course I said yes!”

“When it came to organising our vintage-inspired wedding, I planned  a lot of it myself with help of my lovely mum! I would have to say eBay was our most indispensable wedding supplier. If you’re looking for anything slightly out of the ordinary or original you simply cant beat it!”
