I do tend to fall into the trap of comparing myself to others. I actually think it’s almost impossible not to – it’s only human to feel jealous or inadequate sometimes. The trick seems to be not allowing it to overwhelm you or affect how you treat other people. After all, the person you compare yourself to will have their own feelings of inadequacy and weakness to deal with too. Better to be kind to them, and to yourself.
