Project Pretty as a Picture #12 – patience is a virtue

Ever heard the saying that good things come to those who wait? This beautiful bouquet didn’t just appear, seeds were planted – seeds turned to saplings which were tended to lovingly with absolutely no immediate results apart from painstakingly slow growth. Eventually they turned into a plant and, one year, as if overnight, the plant flowered. But it didn’t happen overnight – it took years of hard work, dedication, belief and patience.

If you’re trying to start something – a relationship, a job, a business, a creative project, it may seem like your efforts aren’t yielding any results – but little roots have to grow. Everyone starts somewhere, so hang in there, keep putting in the time and effort and eventually you’ll harvest the most beautiful crop of blooms.

Wonderful sentiment – I completely agree, although it can be difficult sometimes to stick to!

I know, right? I’m the least patient person on the planet – but it’s always been true regardless ;) xxx

Thank you for the inspiration. We are so close to the launch, this is helping me focus on how it will bloom once we are out there!

Aaw I’m so glad it’s help – best of luck with the launch, there will be amazing days and down days, but with a supportive community of biz owners around you, you’ll come out on top xxx
