# Pretty things I’ve bought lately

I’m really loving all of the colours and fabrics this season – whimsical, pretty pastels seem to have flooded the high street (hey, maybe we really are trendsetters) and I’ve been making the most of it with a little retail therapy. Here are a few of the pretty bits and bobs I’ve bought over the last few weeks.

♥ My shoes are last season’s Accessorize (unfortunately out of stock now) and my skirt is currently on sale for [£26 at Dorothy Perkins](http://www.dorothyperkins.com/en/dpuk/product/clothing-203535/skirts-203567/maxi-skirts-203818/blush-mesh-pleated-maxi-2712793?refinements=category~%5b212188%7c208660%5d&bi=1&ps=20) - I love everything about it, it hangs and moves really well, and it’s a beautiful colour in person. In fact, I love it so much I’m seriously considering buying a second skirt in aqua…

♥ After searching for ages, I finally found my perfect lipstick shade. It’s no.47, L’amoureuse in the Rouge Allure Velvet collection, [£26 at Chanel](http://www.chanel.com/en_GB/fragrance-beauty/Makeup-Lipsticks-95932?WT.srch=1&WT.mc_id=FB_LE-ROUGE-S1-2014_en_GB_Google&WT.mc_t=sea). It’s amazing how a splash of colour in the right place can totally highlight the rest of your features. My headband is [£24 from Anthropologie](http://www.anthropologie.eu/anthro/product/accessories-hair-acc-headbands/7156446722207.jsp#/) (warning, there are lots and lots of pretty headbands in Anthropologie at the moment – enter at your peril!)

♥ My blouse is from [Primark](https://www.primark.com/en/whats-new), a real gem as it’s so versatile. Great for office wear, or tie it up and pair with lots of boho-style necklaces for a summer look. It’s sheer enough to wear over a bikini too. Love it.
