Those of you who have followed the blog for a while will know that my hair is… erm… a work in progress. Or, like Madonna, likes to continuously be re-invented. As a result I’ve been through many incarnations, blonde, bright red, pink, brunette and everything in between!

See what I mean? No, those aren’t wigs, just a lifetime of experimenting

The last few months my hair has been… well… blah. I seriously slipped up on my maintenance, somehow my hair went back to its natural mousy colour and *gasp* found my first greys in my roots.

You may remember a few months back we had a little soiree at quirky vintage blow dry bar, The Parlour London (pictures and recap here). I really hit it off with the girls there and they assured me that they were all too happy to help me escape my own personal hair hell. The very talented Danielle spent a phenomenal four hours giving me a brand new cut and colour! In fact, I have so much hair (it’s ridiculous) that even after cropping it to shoulder length to improve the condition, it took so long to put in foils that I had to literally run out of the salon without so much as a selfie (boo) which is why I had to take it in the car.

I thought I’d share some before and after shots for your amusement! In other words, tadah!

Long straggly mess turned to bright blonde locks!

So I’m feeling a little more human today! Have any of you had a drastic hair makeover recently? Are you on the edge of having one but need a little push to go for it? I’d love to hear your thoughts and see your pics! Facebook Members Plugin by Crunchify: http://Crunchify.com/facebook-members/
