Definitely invest in a DSLR and maybe a few lessons or a short course to make the most of it, it’s such a fun skill to learn x

Photography has got me through some of the darkest times of my life. One of the main benefits I found with photography was that whilst you’re doing it, you HAVE to live in that particular moment – the process of taking an image makes you focus your mind entirely on that scene. You don’t have mind space to worry about your issues. It’s kind of a mechanical version of Buddhist ‘mindfulness’.
