Sunny yellow rustic chic wedding inspiration – a styled shoot
When Claire Graham (a fabby photographer of Claire Graham Photography fame, for those who don’t know yet) approached me with this shoot, I was so excited. Partly because it’s bright colours and chic elements cheered me right up, but also because of the amazing suppliers involved. I love a good collaboration, and when such talent comes together, really great things happen.
The shoot really speaks for itself, it’s bright, sunny and for any bride who wants a happy, yellow-themed wedding this gives some really great inspiration. I’ll hand over to Claire to tell you about the concept behind the shoot:
“When arranging this styled shoot, I knew I wanted a theme where rustic meets chic. So when Lauren at Lau at French Made approached me asking if I would be interested in photograph her yellow desert table in a styled shoot, I immediately thought it would be a great idea to combine the two themes.
I wanted to create something that was pretty, dreamy and gorgeous with a rustic chicness along with an element of DIY. The idea behind the shoot was to showcase something that every bride could do.
The colours and texture are all around us, in parks and fields. So I decided to photograph in a garden setting and let the natural beauty do the talking in this wedding inspiration shoot.
The dessert table supplied and styled by Lau at French Made offers a great alternative to the traditional wedding and gives guests with a sweet tooth a great hit of yumminess as well as looking fabulous!
Simple yet stylish, was the key factor in pulling together the rustic chic theme, which could be achieved on any wedding budget.
