A 1930s-inspired chic affair
Morning lovelies. Today I have one heck of a treat for you, if I do say so myself. This gorgeous bride is Alex Mannion of ‘Pigeon and Quill‘ wedding paper products. First of all, I couldn’t resist this wedding because I LOVE a bride with amazing curls. Secondly, look at the reception decorations – just look! So original and beautiful! Her vision of the day was 1930s faded, wintry glam. For the reception, it was winter wind in the willows picnic! There’s something so effortlessly chic and high fashion about the whole celebration. Just love it!
The beautiful pictures were taken by Olliver Photography. Annie Olliver of Olliver Photography says: “We thoroughly enjoyed photographing the day. Alex is such a talented and creative bride and it was lovely to see her vision come to life. Her fun but elegant perspective made the day very unique. My favourite details had to be the picnic baskets on every table. Inside every basket were yummy treats tied up in brown paper packages… pork pies, cheeses, gorgeous meats and elderflower fizz- to die for! Alex and Chris have the most stunning baby daughter Mimi, who, despite being ill, stole the show in her vintage dress and utter cuteness! The evening was glamorous yet relaxed, sophisticated but fun! It felt like London in the 1930s…loved it!”
