You may have noticed that we’ve been posting a little less frequently this month, and that we’ve been on the quiet side. Don’t worry, Darling Lovelies, we haven’t abandoned you, we’ve just been super busy getting the blog ready to open sponsorship this October!! So, first of all, let me say that we’re pulling a media pack together. If you’d like one, please email email@example.com and I’ll make sure you receive one as soon as it’s ready.
There’s also a serious, ongoing illness in my family that tends to take me away with very short notice, so please do bear with me.
So we’ve been busy with that, and a whole host of freelance work, press events, magazine work and photoshoots – here’s some stuff we’ve been doing… ;)
I got myself a shed!
And this is what it looks like
I’ve always had a thing about lovely little spaces, and I’ve ALWAYS wanted my own shed / garden building to play with. This month I finally got my very own shed / photography studio. There will be a full post once I’ve decorated the inside, but in the meantime, loooook!
We did an epic photoshoot on Dartmoor
We headed down to beautiful Dartmoor with our amazing friend, beauty vlogger and artist Klaire de Lys (who did an incredible job with our makeup), fabulous photographer, Fiona Kelly, and epic hair stylist, Danielle from The Parlour London. Armed with accessories from Rouge Pony and a whole load of glitter, we had a fun couple of days on set. We even slept in a yurt camp. There will be a full post about the shoot and behind-the-scenes happenings soon, but in the meantime, here are a couple of sneak peeks by the lovely Fiona.

A month of photoshoots
This month I have personally been involved in three (yes three) photoshoots. When I say involved, I mean creative directing – and when I say creative directing, I mean designing the concept, liaising with the client, sourcing suppliers and items, on-the-day styling and direction and post-shoot PR and behind-the-scenes photo editing. Here’s a little glimpse of what I’ve been doing (these are my own shots):
Vintage Life Online Editor
Some of you may have cottoned on to my exciting new role as Vintage Life Magazine’s Online Editor. I’ve been busy setting everything up and pulling together fabulous era-inspired content for the site. Check out some of my work so far and keep an eye on new posts on the Vintage Life website!
A little preview from an upcoming hair tutorial on the Vintage Life Magazine blog
So that was our month – lots of hard work but so worth it! And now things are a little more settled we’re thrilled to be back to our regular schedule. Don’t forget to email firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire about your media pack!
