Get inspired with four vintage-inspired styles from Idyllic Days

We’re really excited to feature this beautiful vintage-styled shoot, shot by the talented Eddie Judd, showcasing new, on-trend styles from the acclaimed and talented Idyllic Days. As it’s one of our favourite vintage crockery and styling companies, we were so excited to hear that Idyllic Days has introduced four new styles for 2013, which all incorporate wonderful vintage props and crockery you can hire! We were even more excited to receive the gorgeous pictures, showing us how it’s done… swoon!

We love the sheer amount of beautiful wedding inspiration here:

Rustic Romance features lovely hessian table runners, with a mix of silver, mercury glass and clear crystal pieces. These would be perfect paired with single blooms and blousy flowers such as dahlias; mix it up a little with some unusual plants like succulents. Complete the look with hay bales and apple carts for seating.

Grown Up Glamour is a sophisticated take on a bygone era. Pearls, crystal and an abudance of rose petals meet cut-glass cake stands and bonbon dishes filled with fresh flowers, alongside candlesticks draped with faux pearl necklaces. Make your lounge area like a 1920s cocktail bar with Hendricks bottles and Cuban cigars, adding vintage sewing machines for effect.

Classic Crockery is one of our favourite looks – the perfect English tea party. Mismatched china cups and teapots mingle with bunting hung from the marquee wall. Traditional English fare like warm scones, finger sandwiches and afternoon tea are served alongside ditsy floral print fabrics.

♥ Luxe Lace: another favourite! Metres and metres of lace styled with pretty vintage tablecloths and lace doilies adorn the tables, while the luxe look is complemented with ribbons elegantly attached to glass jugs and jam jars. Silverware and cut-glass props are used to great effect to make the whole affair very sophisticated.

Prices start from just £25 for the centre settings, and an on-the-day coordinator can help you from £350.
