A vintage-inspired US Navy-style intimate family wedding ceremony

Hello everyone – so it’s Good Friday – and, for my Jewish followers, it’s the first night of Passover tonight which means Under the Vintage Veil will be offline for a couple of days as Passover is traditionally a family time in the Jewish culture. But, before I go, I want to leave you with this gorgeous, simple family ceremony.

This intimate, US Navy-style real wedding featuring just this lovely family, really moved me. There’s something so classic and timeless in its simplicity. I hope you guys love it as much as I do! Here’s what the photographer, Bridgit of McBee Photography, had to say about the day:

“Crafty, fun-loving, and confident – Stephen and Timber were a joy to photograph. They painted, whittled, sewed, baked and designed their way to a very intimate (yet low-budget) elopement. Stephen, a nuclear engineer in-training, lives in Charleston, SC so Timber and her daughter, Aria, flew here to tie the knot in one of the most romantic cities in the US. Their unique blend of vintage glamour and Celtic roots fit them to a T. Their elopement was made even more intimate with a ring exchange for little Aria! This couple loves full throttle and I was so honoured to be a part of their private exchange.”
