Evening everyone – it’s a late one (I’ve been doing battle with technology today) but just I had to show you this lovely vintage tea party real wedding, submitted by the very talented and lovely Alex of postscriptevents.co.uk . As always, I don’t like to natter on too much in these posts, so here’s Alex to tell you all about how she styled Vivian and Edward’s oh-so-cute wedding.
“This is one of the first weddings I worked on (I provided six week countdown wedding coordination, on the day coordination and a DIY-style photobooth) and I had so much fun – what a fab couple and an amazing, sweet, romantic and fun wedding!”
“The day was filled with gorgeous vintage style details (and sooo many DIY projects) from the tissue paper pom poms, handmade bunting, a huge collection of vintage china (each tea cup and saucer was chosen personally for each guest by the bride and groom), tables named after things that go better together *tea and crumpets/gin and tonic*, the flowers were wildflowers with a just picked feel presented in vintage teapots, there was a coconut shy, cricket, splat the rat, a vintage gramophone, pie and mash for dinner and a fantastic live band.”
