A stunning rustic barn real wedding – Stef and Rich Part 1: The Ceremony

I’m so so so so excited to share this amazing wedding with you! Stef and Rich put together not just one of my favourite wedding submissions, but one of my favourite real weddings of all time! You won’t believe that this stunning bride designed her fantastic, vintage-inspired dress.

I’ll let Stefanie tell you all about the day in her own words, but I just want to say how blown away I was by the styling by Jennifer Sue Weddings. I’ve met her and was so impressed with her industry knowledge and helpfulness, but this just shows exactly what she’s capable of. I’m speechless. Here’s Stef to tell you all about her big day – Part 2 coming very soon…

“I really struggled to find the dress of my dreams so ended up designing it myself and having it made. I was so happy with the end result and I felt like me. We were so lucky to have such a stunning venue, we couldn’t have wished for anything better. Jennifer did such an amazing job of bringing out the barns full beauty, understanding our vision and co-ordinating our many family and friends who helped set up the barn the week before the wedding.

My sisters did an amazing job of hand making all the menus, name tags and order of service. One of my sisters even printed hundreds of photo’s of all our guests and dotted them around the barn. My mum made all the five bridesmaid dresses and four flower girl dresses. We had 13 ushers, 1 best man and a page boy.

My sister-in-law made our beautiful wedding cake and organised a 100 balloons to be released by guests after the ceremony. We had beautiful weather (so lucky as allot of the day was outside). The Hog roast was outside, there was outside bar areas, hay bales and rattan furniture for guests to sit on, and plenty of bunting. The setting was stunning with a beautiful summer’s evening that made it even better. Our wedding singer Jasmine Kittermaster who sang during the ceremony until late evening, was amazing and even our talented guests sang a song or two.

Our photographer and videographer TDH Media was brilliant, the team melted into the background and were super quick on the must-have photos. I would really recommend a videographer, it just captures all those details you worked so hard on, you get to see all the bits you missed and watching peoples expressions and there reactions throughout the day is priceless. The whole day was so relaxed and flowed better than we could have imagined and as you see our wedding wouldn’t have been so amazing without all the help from family and friends and our guests on the day made it so special.”
