1920s-inspired glamour – introducing the Gemma Sutton Bridal collection

Show and tell time! I have something very special to show you… I was fortunate enough to catch up with the super talented David of David Wickham Photography last week. A fantastic modern vintage photographer, David told me about some of the projects he’s been working on – and when he showed me these pictures I snapped them up straight away! So without further ado, here’s Dave to tell you about the shoot:

Gemma Sutton is a brilliant bridal hair and make up artist with over ten years of experience. She’s now teamed teamed up with a vintage bridal jewellery designer to create a stunning collection of handmade bridal pieces exclusively for her beautiful brides. For brides looking for something very special and a little different for the most important day of their lives, Gemma and Donna created a range of glamorous, vintage inspired pieces inspired by elegant flowers in a decadent style. Handmade with love by Donna incorporating Swarovski crystals and fresh water pearls The Gemma Sutton Bridal collection will be available at http://www.gemmasutton.com and http://www.donnacrain.com

“Watching Gemma transform the model, Emily, into a 1920s belle for this shoot was incredible,” says Dave. “To see such a talented creative at work gave me the buzz to push the brief for this shoot beyond the storyboard we had created, and I think the images we captured show how excited we all were! I love Gemma and Donna’s collaboration and can’t wait to see one of the pieces in a modern vintage style wedding I’m shooting next Summer”
